A New Concept: DIY Print Your own Art!
A Bold New Marketing Concept.
Can art be sold over the Internet in the same
way that music is sold through music downloads? In a bold, new
experiment, New Media Artist Mike Butler, is making his art
available,10 beautiful images -- DRM free, in a ZIP file
by email attachment. Art aficionados can purchase the art
through a PayPal link and have the art sent to them in a ZIP
file to their e-mail account, print the images on a standard
8.5" x 11" inkjet printer and then frame them in an inexpensive,
standard frame available through any retail store that carries
frames.
The images in the albums do not include the
digital frame, mat or borders. They are a full size 8.5" x 11" x
150 dpi image.
